Winter wonderland.....

Lou Harris has brought in some wonderful new oil paintings......We asked her what she loved the most about her winter paintings, and as always her thoughts were never far away from home!

'I like to think that my ‘ winter paintings ‘ evoke the feeling of being a child.

Really looking at the majesty and drama of the snow instead of just feeling its chill.

The excitement of a snowy day is like no other. 

Snow unifies everything and coats every item in a magical blanket.

My paintings are populated with figures who live with the knowledge that ‘home’ isn’t far away

where a fire and dry pair of socks are waiting.'
